Let’s talk about putting together a will, trust, or powers of attorney while skiing or boarding at Wilmot Mountain in Wilmot, WI! If you schedule your initial appointment with me to take place on the slopes of Wilmot, then I’ll knock 10% off your attorney fee.
Here’s how it works. When you schedule your meeting, I will email you a detailed questionnaire. This will help me gather all the key details and inform me about what is most important for you. Then, buy a lift ticket to Wilmot Mountain and meet me for an hour or so. We’ll discuss all the details involved with putting together an estate plan and I’ll answer any questions you might have. Finally, we’ll select a second time to meet at my Crystal Lake, IL office to sign the final product.
If you’re asking yourself, “what’s an estate plan?”, here’s a quick description: Estate planning is the process in which we plan for possible incapacity and death. I know that sounds depressing, but that’s why we’re going to talk about it while doing something fun! By planning while you are healthy, you will make those difficult times so much easier for you and your family. You will be able to select people that can manage your affairs during incapacity (called a power of attorney, or trustee). You will b
e able to nominate a guardian for minor children and an executor (or trustee) for your estate. A complete estate plan includes a trust and/or will, power of attorney for healthcare, power of attorney for property, HIPAA authorization, and living will. We’ll talk about what all of these are in much greater detail when we meet.

I hope to meet you on the slopes!
